Burning Paper is my first project rendered in Houdini. I followed the appropriate course from Rebelway, which taught me the basics of fire simulation with Pyro FX and rendering in Karma. During the course I was able to develop a paper generator from a displacement map or completely procedurally and spread fire over it to make it burn and change its structure. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to improve my shading, lighting and scene building skills for future projects.
