Hi! I’m Alexander, 24 years old and live near Lake Constance. I recently graduated from the RWU in Weingarten, Germany, with a bachelor´s degree in media design.
Before my studies, I completed a apprenticeship as a computer scientist and gained initial experience in programming and networks. During my apprenticeship, I became passionate about the creative field and decided to develop my first game as my final project. That’s why I decided to study at RWU, to combine the technical with the creative.
For ten terms I have had the incredible opportunity to learn so much, including photography, film, UX design and web programming. However, I’m really passionate about the 3D area, where I’ve already gained experience through several projects.
I’ve been working at the Didactics Department, particularly the Immersive Learning Lab, at the RWU for about two years now. During this time I have been able to gain practical experience as a 3D artist, which has helped me to create and carry out my own projects in a structured way. I have mainly been involved in the development of virtual reality applications. As a tutor, I have also been able to pass on my knowledge of 3D and VR to other students.
In addition to my studies and work, I love to do gaming, sports and enjoy going to concerts.
